Size and price

How big, how long, how much

Pick a spot, drag the size, choose a style. We show the piece drawn to scale, the time we would set aside and what it costs at our hourly rate.

14 cm on the forearm, about the length of a phone

Where it goes

Style

£440 about, at £110 an hour

About 4 hours, in one sitting

A guide, not a quote. The real number comes from the drawing, and we will always tell you if it should be two sittings instead of one.

Four hands, four sketchbooks

An artist working on a client's arm under a bright lamp

Nia

Fine line, botanical, script

Draws everything twice: once for the idea, once for the skin it goes on.

Rob

Traditional, bold line, colour

Twelve years of anchors, roses and swallows, and a wall of flash to prove it.

Large scale work, built over sittings, mapped on the body before a needle comes out.

How it works

From an idea to a healed tattoo

  1. 1

    Tell us the idea

By email or in the studio. Bring references, or nothing at all, and we will talk it through.

  2. 2

    A drawing, then a date

Your artist draws it and sends it over. A 50 pound deposit holds the day and comes off the price.

  3. 3

    The session

Stencil, check it in the mirror, then we tattoo. Eat first, bring a drink, take breaks whenever you want.

  4. 4

    Healing

Written aftercare, a check in at two weeks, and free touch ups within six months if it needs one.

Reviews

Healed and happy

Fine line, forearm

"First tattoo at 34 and I was terrified. Nia drew it three times until it was right, then talked me through every minute of it."

Hannah CassidyHeaton

Traditional half sleeve

"Rob mapped the whole sleeve before we started, so every session added to it instead of patching it. Four sittings, no regrets."

Marcus OpokuGosforth

Blackwork, thigh

"The studio is spotless and calm, and they were straight with me that it needed two sittings, not one. Healed beautifully."

Eighteen. We ask for photo ID every time, even if we know you, and we cannot make exceptions.

Our rate is 110 pounds an hour, with a 90 pound minimum for a small piece. The tool on this page gives you a guide from the size and style.

Yes, 50 pounds to hold the day. It comes off the price, and moves with you if you give us 48 hours notice.

Some spots more than others. Ribs, hands and the inside of the arm are the sharpest. You can take a break whenever you like.

You leave with written aftercare and a wrap. We check in at two weeks, and touch ups within six months are free.

Often, yes. Send a clear photo in daylight and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
