The questions we get every week

We travel to your signer and witness them sign, check their identification, apply the seal and record the act in a journal. A notary confirms who signed and that they signed willingly. We cannot tell you what the document means, and anyone who does is not acting as a notary.
A current, government issued photo ID with a signature and a physical description: a California driver's licence, a state ID, a US passport or a military ID. Expired is fine in California only if it was issued within the last five years. If they have nothing, two credible witnesses who know them can identify them instead.

Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. Hospitals, rehab units and care homes across the county. The signer has to be awake, aware of what they are signing and able to say so themselves. If they cannot, we stop and tell you honestly rather than take the fee.
Yes. Two sets printed on the right paper size, colour pages where the lender asks for them, and the whole package scanned back the same day. FedEx or UPS drop is included and you get the tracking number.
No, and it is not us being difficult. Filling in a form for someone or advising them what to put is the unlicensed practice of law in California. We will point at the blank, tell you it has to be completed before we notarise, and wait while the signer does it.
Most same day requests inside Sacramento get booked within two hours. Evenings and weekends we usually manage the same day too. If we genuinely cannot get there we say so immediately so you can call someone else.
The signer and the notary have to communicate directly, so we cannot work through a family member acting as interpreter. We have Spanish covered in house. For anything else, tell us the language when you book and we will arrange it or tell you we cannot.
