Anyone Can Net the Leaves

Weekly pool service in Phoenix is really a chemistry job. Balanced water is what protects your plaster, your heater and your salt cell, and it is the part most routes rush. We log every reading and send it before we shut the gate.

What we actually do

Three Things That Decide Whether a Pool Lasts

None of them is the net. The net is just the bit you can see from the kitchen window.

The Skim Is the Easy Part

Surface debris, baskets, brushing the steps and the waterline. It takes twelve minutes and it is the only part of the job most people ever look at. We do it every visit, then we get on with the work that actually costs you money when it is skipped.

Equipment Serviced Before It Fails

Pressure checked every visit, baskets pulled, and the filter cleaned on a schedule rather than when the flow finally drops off. A salt cell caught early is a service call. Caught late it is eight hundred dollars and two weeks of a green pool.

The Waterline Tells the Truth

Scale on the tile and a rough feel to the plaster mean the calcium has been out of range for months, not days. That is what balanced water prevents, and it is why we send you the numbers rather than telling you it is fine.

How it goes

First Visit, Every Visit, and What Lands in Your Inbox

No surprises, and nothing that needs you to be home.

A pool ladder and coping on a bright day

The first visit

A full water test, a look at every piece of equipment, and an honest read on the plaster. If the pool needs a drain or a repair before a route makes sense, we say so rather than signing you up to mask it.

Clear balanced pool water

Every visit after

Same tech, same day of the week. Skim, brush, baskets, vacuum where it needs it, then chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium, cyanuric acid, salt and phosphates all tested and corrected on the spot.

What gets sent

Every reading, what we added, and a photo of the water before we left. If something needs watching you hear about it that week, not in three months once it has turned into a repair.

Reviews

What the Valley Says

Homeowners, one property manager, and a man who used to do it himself.

They caught it before it cost me

They flagged a failing salt cell in March off the readings alone. I replaced it for two hundred dollars instead of finding out in July with a green pool and a party booked.

FAQ

Before You Switch

Including the answer that says get the pool fixed before you hire anybody.

Skim and net the surface, brush the steps and the waterline, empty the baskets, vacuum where it needs it, then test and correct chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium, stabiliser, salt and phosphates. Equipment pressure gets checked on the same visit.

Yes, in every plan. Chlorine, acid, stabiliser, salt and phosphate remover are all included, which is the line most quotes leave out and then bill you for in July.

No. We work from the gate and never need to come through the house. You get the readings and a photo of the water by text before we drive off.

Then it is a green pool recovery first, quoted on its own, and only after that does a weekly route make sense. Putting a green pool straight onto a plan is how a service ends up blamed for something it inherited.

Most of the route is salt. A salt system makes chlorine rather than replacing it, so the same seven readings still matter, and the cell is serviced as part of Full Service Plus.

We keep the route and come back. A monsoon dumps debris and knocks your chlorine down overnight, so storm weeks usually mean an extra shock between visits, and that is included rather than billed.

Pumps, filters, salt cells, timers and valves, yes. Heaters we will diagnose and then tell you honestly whether it is worth repairing or replacing. Anything involving gas lines goes to a licensed contractor.

Nothing to sign and nothing to cancel. Tell us to stop and we stop at the end of that month. We would rather earn the next visit than trap you into it.

Chemistry

Why your pool goes green in July, not June

Cyanuric acid builds all season and past a certain number your chlorine stops working no matter how much goes in. Here is the reading to watch and when a drain is cheaper than more chemicals.

Salt systems

Salt pools are not chlorine free

A salt system makes chlorine, it does not replace it. What that means for your cell, for your pH, and for the bill on the day the cell finally gives up.

Summer

What a Phoenix summer does to your water

Evaporation, sun burning off chlorine, and swimmers pull the water out of range faster between June and September than the whole of the rest of the year put together.
