Everything we pour and bake
Prices are the same whether you sit in or take it out. Oat, soya and coconut cost nothing extra.
Espresso
£2.60Huila, pulled as a double. Ask for a single and we will not judge.
Cortado
£3.20Double shot cut with warm milk. The one the baristas drink.

£3.40Six ounces, steamed tight, no foam hat.

A roastery that happens to have a counter
Bean Scene started as a 5kg drum roaster in a railway arch and a market stall at the weekend. The shop came second. That order still shows: we buy small, roast weekly, and sell out rather than sit on stock.
Roasted 400 metres away
The drum runs Thursday mornings in the unit behind the shop. You can smell it from the door.
Open seven days from 7am
First shot at seven on weekdays, eight on Saturday, nine on Sunday. Last order half an hour before close.

V60, Chemex, AeroPress and batch, all on the bar. Tell us what you like and we will pick.

Sits twenty, with a screen and a door that shuts. Free to book on weekday evenings when you are drinking with us.

We bring the bar, the beans and two baristas anywhere in West Yorkshire. Weddings, launches, site openings.
Wholesale beans
Cafes, offices and shops across Leeds, roasted Thursday and delivered Friday. Bags, grind and dial in included, no contract to sign.
